Vera Ehrenstein (Aarhus N, Denmark)

Professor Vera Ehrenstein, MPH, DSc is a research professor for postmarketing studies of medicines at Aarhus University, Denmark. She serves as the coordinating investigator of several large international pharmacoepidemiology/pharmacovigilance studies mandated by regulatory agencies in diverse areas including oncology, pregnancy, and skeletal medicine. Vera has served as a member of the Board of Directors at the International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology (ISPE) and a member of the Steering Group for the European Network for Centres for Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacovigilance (ENCePP), where she is an active member of working groups developing methodological and reporting guidelines for pharmacoepidemiology and pharmacovigilance. Vera Ehrenstein has more than 150 peer-reviewed publications and serves as an associated Editor-in- Chief of the online peer-reviewed journal Clinical Epidemiology. Vera Ehrenstein earned a Doctorate in Epidemiology from the Boston University School of Public Health.
