Andrea MargulisDr. Margulis is a Senior Director of Epidemiology at RTI Health Solutions. Dr. Margulis studied Medicine and completed a Pediatrics residency in Buenos Aires, completed her doctoral studies in Epidemiology at Harvard School of Public Health in Boston and did post-doctoral training at the US Food and Drug Administration. She is currently located in Berlin, Germany. Dr. Margulis has led several single and multi-database post-authorization safety studies conducted at the request of regulatory agencies in various disease areas. Her main research interest is pharmacoepidemiology; much of her work focuses on the safety of medical products in pregnancy. Dr. Margulis is a fellow of the International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology, serves in the Board of Directors of the International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology, and is an Associate Editor for the journal Pharmacoepidemiology and Drug Safety.
