
Lianna holds a PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Cambridge in the UK and is an ILM-5 level qualified coach. Lianna brings many years of research experience in the pharmaceutical industry and external partnerships. Currently, she is Senior Director Real World Data Strategy and Partnerships. Her focus is on building partnerships with health care systems, universities, research institutes, governments, and data companies to enable research teams to access high-quality data for research studies. Previously, she was Senior Director and Head of CORDS (Center for Observational Research and Data Science) Markets at Bristol-Myers-Squibb UK, Group Head Real World Data Science for Neurosciences and Rare diseases at Roche UK, and Head of Real-World Evidence & Epidemiology at Lundbeck in Paris. She held various positions in GSK in the UK over more than 10 years, within Real World Data/ Epidemiology, Pharmacovigilance, International Medical Affairs and Vaccines. Additionally, she has been part of public-private partnerships including European Health Data Evidence Network (EHDEN), contributes to NHS Data and research discussions, and teaches Epidemiology for the Masters in Vaccinology Course at University of Siena. Lianna has a passion for real world data, healthcare, management coaching, and charitable work.
